July/August 07

Well, as the last update told you all things have been settled regarding education although Sunbeam is now getting anxious about starting in September.  He’ll be OK when he starts but because he can’t imagine it he’s getting worked up about it.  We’ve been quite busy and I’ve tried to keep him reasonably entertained but I don’t want to occupy 24 hours a day as he has to realise that there are boring times in life when we have to make our own entertainment!  I’ve taken him to Clacton to visit friends and we visited Duxford Aerodrome when Sunbeam tried on a tin hat and held a 303 rifle!  Needless to say he’s desperate to own a 303n rifle now!!  We also visited a brilliant little WW2 museum in St Osyth which we highly recommend.  It’s free entry and packed with relics etc from WW2 and all the volunteers have stories to tell about their experiences of the war which makes many of the exhibits have a very personal story.   We then went on to watch some seals and it was wonderful and the weather was GREAT!!

Just before the end of term I spoke to my GP about my medication to help me cope with Sunbeam and I very enthusiastically told him that I was feeling much better and more or less back to normal!  I didn’t think about the school holiday!!  One week in and I think I need an increase in the dose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I will try and keep the blog going but I’m taking a step back from the website on a daily basis.  Just because things are settled educationally our issues continue at home!!  Wey! Hey!!
