Being eight again

Filed under: Family — admin @ 4:44 pm

Dinner was quick – and early – this evening. The dishes are out of the way. The dog is walked. And, most importantly of all, the sofa has been moved so there’s room to hide behind it.

He’s back.

  4. Robert, shame on you. I would never admit to that…

Getting Little Madam to watch it was fantastic, though.

  5. We recorded it and two thirds of the male Flemings have already seen it twice…one of them has undertaken to watch it a 3rd time with me, when I finally come home from the last of the multiple Easter services. Still got one sermon to write, before I can preach the thing…Resurrection moments in Dr Who???

  6. Well, I’m sure that you can turn being eaten by a wheelie-bin and turning up a few hours later in an underground workshop by the Thames into a valid Passion Play.

I’d have thought that parallels were obvious…

  7. Wasn’t it great – I thought Billie was great – pleasantly surprised. As for the doctor I hope he lasts for a long time – he was gorgeous. I can see the Doctor Who cult returning.

We don’t have wheelie bins round in these parts tho. As for the mannequins – I will never go shopping again.

  8. Given that I have EVERY Dr Who episode available on VHS I humbly admit to my addiction (Going to be a blast when I start cross-taping those approx 200 cassettes to DVD with my new DVD recorder).

As for the downloading, well, until Horry Telephone caries the BBC, I, like any good adict, must do what must be done to feed the addiction.

  9. So, I wasn’t the only one who used to hide behind the sofa!
