American Gods by Neil Gaiman
It’s quite fun, but have to say not as profound as the author thinks it is.

The Christmas Cake Chronicle – 1
The recipe is of course taken from The Blessed Delia. This is in fact the actual copy of Delia Smith’s Complete Cookery Course that I was given when I went to university (which I simply cannot accept was twenty-seven years ago, but that’s what the numbers say). The book is all dog-eared, the hard cover has fallen to bits, it’s dotted with strange cooking stains and I still refer to it at least weekly.
And leave it all to soak overnight.

OK, it works really well except that I can only do one picture per post. Looks like I’ll still have to use Photobucket for posts with more than one picture.

Hopefully I have managed to connect my Flickr account with this blog. And here is a progress picture on the shawl (any readers also on Ravelry can see what else I’ve been knitting lately – I’m busyknitter there as well)
