Children have so many tricks up their sleeves when it comes to disrupting the normal, pleasant flow of life. Here we are in the middle of July and the weather is perfect. So it’s almost inevitable that T decides to contract some kind of a bug and I have to spend most of the weekend washing sheets, duvets, mattresses and carpets. Repeatedly.

I can sypathise BK – I too have had three loads of puke covered bedding in the washing machine this weekend. I just make the excuse it’s too hot out there anyway…….. Hope T is much, much better soon!

He’s better already and making up for lost time in the eating stakes.
It’s actually been quite a relaxing weekend. T is always a very placid patient and I’ve used the time to catch up with the housework, which always cheers me up (I hate living in chaos).
