I know it’s really all very serious

and earnest and all, but some of the stuff in T’s end of year report from nursery just made me chuckle.

T shows an interest in numbers and counting but has not shown any understanding of the mathematical experiences provided.

He is aware of routines, especially snack time.

Priceless.

This next week will be T’s last at nursery, because in September, he’s off to his new special school. All the nursery staff but especially his wonderful LSA have looked after him for five terms with patience, love and understanding. And I thank them for that from the bottom of my heart.

Great isn’t it :-) I love my boy’s reports. I have a great photo in one where in ’science’ they were ‘learning’ about animals, so they dressed up as bears, which helps them with sensory issues. The photo is of him in a furry tabard with an expression that clearly says “What DO you think you’re making me do…?”

My son’s history report mentioned looking back at his visual timetable for the day and geography was walking in the local neighbourhood! LOL at snacktime!
